Alerton’s Envision for BACtalk is a true Microsoft Windows-based operating system for facility management and control. It communicates with BACnet global and unitary controllers via BACnet Ethernet LAN connections.

Envision for BACtalk uses Microsoft Windows 98, 2000 or XP Graphical User Interface (GUI). The user can concurrently use Envision for BACtalk while working in other Windows programs.

The Alerton BCM-ETH is a high-performance BACnet-compliant router and global controller that supports both a BACnet Ethernet and a BACnet MS/TP network connection.

The Alerton BACtalk VLX/EXP assembly is a scalable equipment controller that consists of a VLX base unit and from one to eight input/output (I/O) expansion modules (EXPs). The VLX executes DDC, hosts local automation features (50 schedules, 200 trend logs, 200 alarms), and makes operational status and control data available as BACnet objects and properties. The VLX/EXP assembly appears as a single BACnet device.

The Alerton® BACtalk® VLC–16160 is a high-performance, fully programmable logic controller designed for central plant systems, lighting panels, and other applications with numerous control points. It has sixteen 10-bit univeral inputs and sixteen binary triac outputs.

The Alerton® BACtalk® VLC–16160I is a high-performance, fully programmable logic controller. An isolated output configuration makes it suitable for control of up to four small packaged terminal units—such as water source heat pumps and other applications with numerous control points—from a single controller. It has sixteen 10-bit univeral inputs and sixteen binary triac outputs.

The Alerton® BACtalk® VLC–550 is a high-performance, fully programmable logic controller designed for control of heat pumps, AC units, and other terminal unit applications. It has five universal 10-bit inputs and five binary triac outputs.

The Alerton® BACtalk® VLC–651R is a high-performance, fully programmable logic controller. The VLC-651R is designed with three software-controlled high-current relays for unit ventilator and fan-coil applications, or for any application that requires multi-speed fan or motor control. In addition to the three high-current relays, it has six 10-bit inputs and two binary triac outputs, and one 10-bit analog output.

The Alerton BACtalk controller for McQuay Water Source Heat Pumps (VL-MQ-WSHP) is a substitute for the McQuay LonWorks MicroTech water source heat pump controller packaged on McQuay water source heat pumps.

The VL-MQ-WSHP can also operate as a stand-alone controller. It does not support McQuay wall-mounted sensors and cannot be connected to a McQuay MicroTech network. The VL-MQ-WSHP has on-board circuitry to support a fan, one compressor, one reversing valve, associated sensors, and safeties.
