ABB E-Clipse Bypass option for the ACH550 Series VFD is the first bypass to offer BACnet without hardware additions. The standard connection is MS/TP, RS485-based; it supports all BIBBs defined by the BACnet standard profile for an Application Specific Controller (B-ASC).
This provides the final piece of the communications puzzle, eliminating the expense and challenges of hardware and gateways; BACnet is the one language, working all the time.
And the bypass communicates constantly with a BAS, even when the drive is offline for maintenance.

without hardware additions. The standard connection is MS/TP,

The Alerton BACtalk controller for
McQuay Water Source Heat Pumps (VL-MQ-WSHP) is a substitute for the
McQuay LonWorks MicroTech water source heat pump controller packaged on
McQuay water source heat pumps.
The VL-MQ-WSHP can also operate as
a stand-alone controller. It does not support McQuay wall-mounted
sensors and cannot be connected to a McQuay MicroTech network. The
VL-MQ-WSHP has on-board circuitry to support a fan, one compressor, one
reversing valve, associated sensors, and safeties.

The NB-ASC is an application selectable controller with five (5) digital
outputs, two (2) analog outputs, two (2) universal inputs and an
optional real time clock. Pre-configured heat pump, rooftop, and fan
coil application templates can be downloaded into the controller. Up to
four (4) stats may be connected to the NB-ASC(e) using American
Auto-Matrix’s STATbus technology. The NB-ASC(e) is functionally
identical except that it has five (5) digital outputs, four (4) analog
outputs, five (5) universal inputs, and one (1) optically isolated
digital input. |
